The Central Processing Unit (CPU) for Civil Parking Enforcement in Sutton-in-Ashfield is one of the largest Local Authority back offices in the country, processing Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) for 21 partner authorities in the East Midlands.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a lively and dedicated team responsible for various administrative tasks related to the efficient processing of approximately 120,000 Penalty Charge Notices per year and over 20,000 permits. Responsibilities include administering Penalty Charge Notices, collecting payments, and managing all associated legal documentation.
You should be able to work under pressure to meet tight statutory deadlines, be enthusiastic and flexible, and possess excellent customer care skills, especially when dealing with often emotive and challenging members of the public. You will work as part of an enthusiastic team focusing on specific areas of administration but will have the opportunity to work across the CPU as a Notice Processing Assistant.
