Job Title: SEN Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Chelmsford Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Deliver outreach sessions tailored to the individual needs of each student Create engaging and inclusive lesson plans to support learning and development Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed Collaborate with school staff and parents/guardians to ensure continuity in learning Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialist knowledge in English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs Education: Relevant degree in Education or a related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEN support strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Organisational skills to plan and deliver effective tutoring sessions Preferred Qualifications: Additional SEN qualifications or training Experience in delivering outreach or community-based education programmes Working Conditions: Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling Work primarily in learners homes or local libraries May require travel to different locations within the East of England region All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
