THE ROLE As a Homeowner Services Officer, you’ll take responsibility for managing leasehold and shared ownership properties, ensuring all services provided are responsive, efficient, and compliant. You’ll act as the main point of contact for lease-related matters, providing specialist advice and taking the lead on resolving issues. Key responsibilities include: Managing a portfolio of leasehold, freehold, and shared ownership homes, taking full responsibility for leasehold management. Providing expert advice on lease covenants, subletting, alterations, and lease variations. Investigating and resolving lease breaches, taking enforcement or court action where required. Supporting with Section 20 and QLTA consultations and managing leaseholder observations. Ensuring accurate service charge setting, scrutiny, and recovery, optimising income for the business.
