About the Service

Ty Laura serves as a vital resource for families in need of respite care and supports children and young people with additional learning needs and health needs that have a daily impact on the young people’s lives on a minimum of 2 nights per month basis, supporting up to 4 children a night, across 6 days a week.

So far this year, we have supported 35 children offering overnight stays and holiday provision, with indirect support to 44 siblings of the young people we support. This ensures that the services we offer have a wide-ranging impact on the entire family as well as the community.

We have five uniquely designed bedrooms to interest each child’s personality, which will make them feel comfortable and at 'home' during their short stay.

Our aim is to provide opportunities and experiences that widen the individuals sense of belonging through our individualised support.
