We’re seeking SEMH Teaching Assistants to join The Beacon Centre, a school dedicated to supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain specialist experience in a highly supportive setting.
The role:
1. Providing targeted support to pupils with SEMH needs
2. Assisting in creating a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere
3. Helping students overcome barriers to learning
4. Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
You will need:
5. Previous experience in SEMH, SEND, or youth support
6. Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
7. A patient and empathetic approach
