We have an exciting career opportunity for a Sales Advisor to join the Stannah Maintenance and Repair Division at our Mansfield Service Branch.
The Technical Sales Advisor is responsible for providing quotations and securing orders for domestic minor repair opportunities within our client base.
We seek individuals with previous sales or business development experience in a busy office environment, who are target-driven with a strong commitment to customer service excellence.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and developing relationships, and comfortable interacting across all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Respond to portfolio situations requiring minor repair work to repair or enhance customer equipment.
2. Establish a robust internal sales lead network among branch engineers and field management to quote and secure target volumes of minor repair orders.
3. Identify and target prospective existing and new customers, raising awareness of opportunities to improve equipment reliability and safety.
4. Create a sales pipeline to ensure consistent quotation opportunities and meet sales targets.
5. Maintain detailed activity records (e.g., lead source, lift location, meeting notes, condition reports, quotations, order outcomes).
6. Quote for minor repairs when taking new domestic lifts on contract.
7. Provide accurate, timely proposals and follow up systematically.
8. Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Report regularly on activity to the Branch Manager.
10. Promote the Stannah brand positively.
11. Work safely, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and customer care.
12. Demonstrate ingenuity, flexibility, and a proactive attitude to succeed.
13. Occasional travel within the Service Branch area may be required.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
* GCSE English Grade C or above.
