We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Corporate Security Officer who would like to work at our Horsham and maybe Crawley to join our company. You will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users. You will need to manage access and egress to the estate and to work in partnership with staff in London to facilitate this. This role will also include answering incoming telephone calls, conducting emergency procedures, and patrolling or reception duties when necessary. Information: Position: Corporate Security Officer Location: Horsham, West Sussex Pay: £13.85 per hour Hours: Average 42 hours per week Shifts: 4 On 4 Off - Days & Nights Job Requirements: SIA Licence required Own transport due to location of site Security Experience is required Must be flexible and be able to work - days, nights, weekends - Flexibility to change due to operational needs. Must have good command of English Language Excellent communication both written & verbal Excellent levels of customer service at all times Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas. Flexible in the approach to daily duties - patrolling, reception duties, access control, lock ups CCTV licence would be a bonus Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested Key Responsibilities: Secures premises and personnel by carrying out daily patrols of property to check integrity/usage of access control and CCTV security. Monitor proper use of access control to ensure the security of premises. Improve security awareness by actively and discretely informing staff of the security procedures on site and monitoring adherence to same. i.e. ensuring personnel display ID badges whilst on the premises. Prepare and create contractor passes ensuring all contractor passes are issued on receipt of appropriate RAMS/permits. Liaise with the London Wall Place Security Team to ensure building access is revoked for both the building, office floors and systems for any persons no longer eligible for entry. Maintain Access Control standards in Broadlands Business Campus. This includes handling issues such as lost badges or visiting employees requiring additional access to be added to their badges. Undertake regular audit of temporary access pass usage ensure correct process is being followed by personnel and duty shift security teams. Carry out frequent audit and muster of security keys held in the Traka system to ensure keys are properly controlled and issued/returned as per policy and process.
