The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Document Controller to support operational and project delivery teams. This role is central to ensuring that project documentation is accurately maintained, controlled and readily accessible, helping to uphold compliance, quality assurance and efficient communication across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and control project documentation in line with internal procedures and client requirements
Maintain document registers, version control and audit trails
Coordinate the flow of documentation between site teams, project managers and external stakeholders
Upload, manage and archive records within electronic document management systems
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and compliant documentation
Work closely with project, commercial and quality teams to ensure documentation is approved and distributed correctly
Contribute to continuous improvement of document control processes
Candidate Profile
Previous experience in a Document Controller role, ideally within construction, highways or engineering
Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Office and electronic document management systems
Confident communicator with a proactive, collaborative approach
