🔐 Microsoft Security Architect (Contract) – Outside IR35 | Fully Remote | Immediate Start
We’re working with a forward-thinking IT consultancy seeking an experienced Microsoft Security Architect to join on a contract basis. This is a fully remote role, outside IR35, with an immediate start for the right candidate.
🚀 The Role
You’ll take ownership of designing and delivering robust Microsoft security architectures across enterprise environments. This is a hands-on architecture role, requiring someone who can operate independently, engage with stakeholders, and clearly articulate security strategy and design decisions.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft security solutions at an enterprise level
* Define and deliver architecture across identity, device, and data security domains
* Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, scalable solutions
* Provide architectural guidance and best practice across security programmes
* Produce high-quality documentation and present solutions with clarity and confidence
🛠️ Core Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Security Architect in Microsoft environments
* Deep expertise in:
* Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)
* Microsoft Intune
* Microsoft Purview
* Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles, identity security, and endpoint management
* Ability to design end-to-end security architectures independently
* Excellent communication skills – able to articulate complex concepts to varied audiences
* Experience working within consultancy or client-facing environments

* Location: Fully Remote
* Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35)
* Start Date: Immediate
* Duration: 3 months initial contract with strong extension potential
