We currently have openings for SEND Teaching Assistants in Sunderland, with roles available to start immediately. Both full-time and part-time positions are offered, Monday to Friday (8:30 – 15:30). We are looking for individuals who: Communicate effectively and show empathy Thrive when working in a collaborative environment Are well organised and proactive Are passionate about helping young people achieve their potential These roles involve supporting students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, learning difficulties, and emotional or behavioural challenges. You'll provide a mix of 1:1 support, small group work, and general classroom assistance depending on the needs of the students. Our partner schools in Sunderland are focused on helping learners overcome barriers to education and achieve their goals in a supportive and nurturing environment. Ideal candidates may have experience in: Youth work, care work, or coaching Working with children or young people in informal or formal settings Degrees related to education, psychology, or health and social care Personal experience supporting someone with additional needs We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable individuals who want to make a real impact—and who are ready to learn, grow, and inspire others.
