The school is open to candidates with experience in premises, caretaking, facilities, or site management roles. The daily rate of £90 to £130 per day will be dependent on experience and the level of responsibility undertaken within the role.
The Role
As the Premises Assistant / Premises Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school site remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the premises, carrying out maintenance tasks, health and safety checks, and supporting the smooth operation of the school environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Opening and closing the school site
Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
Conducting health and safety inspections
Managing deliveries and site access
Setting up rooms and equipment for school events
Monitoring the upkeep of school buildings and grounds
Liaising with contractors and external suppliers
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience in a premises, caretaker, facilities, or site management role
Possess strong practical maintenance and DIY skills
Have a good understanding of health and safety procedures
