Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified and Experienced Advanced Practitioner to join Trafford Council's Families First Team. This is a full time role offering an amazing rate of £37 per hour.

Responsibilities:
8. You will work on a locality basis with children and families that require a social work assessment.
9. We have developed a specialised service in this area of work to allow us to strengthen our assessment and planning for children in need and their families, raising the status of children in need and ensuring a consistent approach across the borough.
10. It is also important that practitioners in this service are able to build relational partnerships that strengthen our work and enable the step down of plans where it is safe to do so and in the families' timescales.
11. You will ensure that practice is of the highest possible standard.
12. You will promote the safeguarding of vulnerable children and young people who are suffering or are at risk of harm and abuse.
13. You will commission, coordinate and deliver effective plans for children.
14. Maintain a strength-based service delivery in line with national performance frameworks and standards.
15. You will carry a part caseload of complex cases while supporting quality of practice in the team in a range of ways to suit need.
16. You will ensure that effective permanence planning takes place.
17. You will ensure that practice is recorded in a way that demonstrates the delivery of overall service objectives and addresses performance indicators.
18. Liaise and work with the Practice Manager and Head of Service and the other Advanced Practitioners within the Service.
19. You will assist in the allocation of work within the Service.
20. You will support a robust system of monitoring to ensure that record keeping and report writing is of a high quality.
21. You will attend and/or chair Strategy, Family facing meetings, Case Conferences etc.
22. You will support the Practice Manager in ensuring that the Team's business operations are effective and efficient
23. You will assist the Practice Manager and Head of Service in developing effective ways to involve children, young people and families in service planning, re-design, delivery and evaluation.
Requirements:
24. Social Work Degree or equivalent
25. Social Work England registered
26. Enhanced DBS
