Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Opportunity
1. Location: Derby
2. Salary: Up to £39,500 Basic | OTE up to £44,500
3. Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm + alternate Saturdays 08:00am – 12:00pm (42.5 hours per week)
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a busy and well-established Van Dealership in Derby.This role is ideal for an experienced technician with strong diagnostic ability who is looking to join a supportive manufacturer-backed environment with excellent earning potential and clear career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
13. Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults
14. Use advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer technical data
15. Carry out repairs and servicing to manufacturer standards
16. Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently
17. Support workshop productivity and team development
18. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and workmanship quality
About You:
19. Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
20. Minimum 3 years workshop experience
21. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills essential
22. Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
23. Team player with a strong work ethic
24. Ability to work efficiently in a busy dealership environment
25. Committed to ongoing training and development
