Overview
The Gritter/ Class 2 Driver positions are essential for keeping roadways safe and accessible during winter. This role involves operating snowploughs and other equipment to clear roads, highways, and public areas of snow and ice, ensuring safe transportation. You'll work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions, with call out hours based on weather demands.

Qualifications
* Valid HGV Class 2 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
* Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) - beneficial, training can be provided if required.
* Certification in Snow and Ice Control Operations is advantageous.
* Winter Maintenance Certification desirable, but training will be given.
* Experience in operating heavy machinery or snow removal equipment.
* Familiarity with local geography and road systems.
* Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
* Pass Drug & Alcohol Test.
* Disability Confident.
