Duties
* Operate and monitor machinery for manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
* Conduct milling operations and assembly tasks with precision and attention to detail.
* Perform materials handling, including loading and unloading materials from machines.
* Maintain tooling and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
* Execute basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and specifications.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
* Ideally has experience in a machine operating role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
* Familiarity with hand tools and their application in the manufacturing process.
* Experience with materials handling practices and safety protocols.
* Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
* Competence in basic mathematics for measurement calculations is required.
