P&L Recruitment are recruiting exclusively for a small growing Accountancy Firm based in North Lanarkshire, who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accountancy Graduate or a candidate with some accounts experience to move into an entry level role and progress a career in Accounting while working towards a professional accounting qualification. The role will include: Bookkeeping and accounts preparation Bank and balance sheet reconciliations Preparing VAT returns Preparing client bank recs Preparing Tax returns Using SAGE, Xero and QuickBooks Accounting software Daily communication with clients, through calls and emails What we are looking for: Accounting Degree or relevant experience in an Accountancy Practice Accounting software experience would be preferred A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Able to work under pressure and manage workload effectively Someone who can work independently, and take ownership of their work My client offers a starting salary of 25K, plus two bonuses per year and a fantastic supportive environment with mentorship and study support.
