Transportation Representative, AmazonNow CO, RoW APEX
Over the past 20 years, Amazon has reinvented itself on behalf of customers and has become the largest internet retailer and marketplace in the world. The NOC (Network Operation Center) is the central command and control center for 'Transportation Execution' across Amazon's transportation network. It ensures hassle-free, timely pick-up and delivery of freight from vendors to Amazon fulfillment centers (FC) and from FCs to carrier hubs. In case of exceptions, NOC intervenes to resolve issues and keeps stakeholders informed. NOC also analyzes network data to identify trends and automates or proposes process changes to streamline operations, playing a critical role in ensuring smooth transportation functions and timely customer service.
Within NOC, a dedicated team manages Amazon Fresh, SSD, and Amazon Now (Quick Commerce) businesses. GSF – Central Operations (GSF-CO), part of NOC, supports operations in IN, SG, and MENA, managing multiple business lines such as Amazon Fresh (Ultra-Fast Fresh & Hybrid 3P), Sub-Same Day (SSD), and Amazon Now (Project Tez). GSF-CO also oversees delivery operations for More Super and Hyper Market (MSM) in T10+ cities, including order assignment, exception monitoring, COD reconciliation, and BTO scans, supporting regions in AE and SG as well.
