Head of Residential Sales
We are excited to be recruiting for a new Head of Residential Sales to shape and influence our London and National Sales offices. As an experienced partner, the individual will be responsible for overseeing our sales teams across offices, recruiting new talent, and developing the sales business further. This role requires a reputable leader with experience managing multiple offices, driving change, and increasing income and profit.
Carter Jonas has an extensive portfolio of sales offices from London, Oxford, and Cambridge to York, with over 70 sales professionals. The role will ideally be based in one of our central London offices, with a highly competitive salary package. Key Responsibilities
1. Lead our national residential sales business
2. Collaborate with head of sales operations, business services, and regional heads to achieve results
3. Fee earning, pitching, and bringing in new business
4. Focus on growing our sales business
5. Drive new opportunities through business development
6. Implement change to increase income and profitability
7. Recruit and manage top talent
8. Arrange training, conduct appraisals, and set targets and commission structures
9. Prepare business plans
10. Identify and pursue potential acquisitions
11. Utilize REAPIT (CRM) effectively
12. Oversee sales processes and paperwork, ensuring compliance with legislation
13. Chair meetings and collaborate with the senior team on sales projections and budgets
Success Criteria
This role requires an experienced residential sales professional who has led multiple teams and offices, preferably including central London. The candidate should have a proven track record of generating sales and new business, with excellent knowledge of the residential sales market. Leadership skills are essential, with a focus on developing teams to grow office income. Strong budget and fee management skills, along with experience in reporting, are required. The role is ideally based in London; however, travel to regional offices will be expected. A full clean driving license is necessary.
