AtTCES (Track Civil Engineering Solutions), we deliver civil and rail infrastructure projects that connect communities and drive progress. We are now looking for an experiencedCivil Project Managerto join our growing team and play a key role in leading projects across Scotland and the wider UK.
As Civil Project Manager, you’ll oversee projects from initial planning through to completion — ensuring every job is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Project Planning and Delivery
 * Lead the end-to-end management of civil and rail projects within scope, budget, and timescale.
 * Develop detailed work programmes, risk assessments, and resource allocation plans.
 * Coordinate with engineers, survey teams, and clients to ensure design intent and constructability.
 * Oversee all site activities, maintaining TCES standards for safety, quality, and environment.
Financial and Commercial Management
 * Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and progress reports.
 * Monitor costs, variations, and contract performance to achieve target profit margins.
 * Liaise with commercial teams on valuations, subcontractor agreements, and change control.
Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSQE)
 * Champion a positive safety culture and compliance with CDM and Network Rail standards.
 * Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and quality inspections.
 * Identify and mitigate risks to protect people and project outcomes.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
 * Act as the primary point of contact for clients and partners.
 * Build long-term relationships through clear communication and transparency.
 * Represent the company professionally in all dealings.
Team Leadership and Development
 * Lead, motivate, and support on-site teams to deliver results.
 * Foster a “one team” culture across office and site operations.
 * Encourage growth and development through coaching and knowledge sharing.
We are looking for a confident project leader with hands-on experience in civil or rail infrastructure. You enjoy working collaboratively, thrive under pressure, and take ownership of results. This role will report to the Contracts Manager/ Operations Director/ Managing Director.
 * HNC/HND or a Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
 * Minimum 5 years’ experience managing civil, infrastructure, or rail projects
 * Strong technical understanding of construction methods and rail standards
 * Financial and contractual awareness (NEC, JCT)
 * CSCS Black/Gold Card, SMSTS, and a full UK driving licence
 * PTS certification
 * Temporary Works Coordinator qualification
 * Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar
 * Competitive salary (DOE)
