Registered Care Home Manager (Nurse Qualified)

Salary: Circa £65,000 (rising to £70,000 after successful completion of probation)
Hours: Full-time | Permanent
Overview
Our client, a respected and long-established family-run care provider, is looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Care Home Manager to lead one of their well-regarded nursing homes in the Devon area. Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and develop a committed care team to deliver outstanding, person-centred support
* Manage the day-to-day running of the home in line with regulatory and clinical governance standards
* Promote a culture of kindness, dignity, and respect across all aspects of the service
* Ensure the wellbeing, safety and happiness of residents is always the top priority
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff and external partners
* Oversee budgets, staffing, and resources efficiently while maintaining high standards of care
* Actively drive continuous improvement and innovation within the home
Qualifications and Skills
* Nurse qualified with an active NMC registration (RGN, RMN or RNLD)
* Previous experience in a registered management role within a care home setting
* In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, KLOEs, and the Health and Social Care Act
* Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on, compassionate approach
* Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills
* A full UK driving licence is desirable
