General Operative / FLT Operator - Newquay
Location: Newquay
Duration: Approx. 3 months
Hours: 9-hour shifts (paid for 10) - Monday to Friday
Rate: £20.00 per hour
LRL Recruitment are currently recruiting for a General Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance Licence to join a high-profile industrial project based in Newquay. This position offers a great opportunity for experienced operatives to play an important role in a large-scale site operation, working within a professional and safety-focused environment.
Role Responsibilities:
* Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load and transport heavy machinery and materials.
* Assist in the rip-out, disassembly, and removal of industrial equipment, tools, and machinery.
* Support site teams in maintaining high safety and quality standards across all areas of work.
* Ensure the work area remains tidy, organised, and compliant with site regulations.
Requirements:
* Valid CSCS Card.
* DBS Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Ability to pass a security clearance check.
* Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence.
* Two recent project-specific references.
