About the Client
Service user is a 20‑year‑old young lady diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis 1, Emotionally unstable Personality Disorder, ADHD and is on the Autism Spectrum. She is on medication including anti‑depressants. NF1 causes her to have limited learning, and she has a fluctuating mental age ranging from a 5‑year‑old to a 12‑year‑old to a 20‑year‑old depending on her mood. The service user finds life challenging and suffers if she has no structure or direction, often feeling overwhelmed. She loves animals, K Pop and Formula 1.

* Attend medical/dental appointments.
Type of Person Required
Service user needs someone who is patient but firm when necessary, honest, reliable, punctual and non‑judgemental. The family requires someone who is easy‑going, flexible, able to work alone, positive, with own car and willing to travel.
What you can expect to receive
Wages are to be discussed, and hours are flexible to best suit you and the service user. The family will fully brief the right person for insight into behaviour and best approaches. Initially, the family thought 4 hours per shift might be enough, but this can be flexible depending on activity.
