We are looking for a Business Development Manager/Account Manager to join our Commercial Team on a 6-Month Maternity Cover basis.

Main Responsibilities

To drive sales growth within the organisation by engaging with NHS customer roles across secondary care, and engage with those roles across the NHS, that can influence new opportunities for future business development for HealthNet Homecare.

To engage with decision makers across the NHS, that are responsible for the decision making of treatment pathways and management of patients, providing opportunity to position and sell the value of clinical homecare services for populations of patients across both primary and secondary care

* Delivery of regional sales targets specified in the account plans in order to achieve increase in sales and patient volume.
* Demonstrate a high level of personal contribution to ensure individual targets are met through effective business development across a portfolio of customer accounts, managing new and existing services across both pharma and NHS funded services.
* Develop and implement a regional business plan addressing prioritisation of accounts and opportunities for new business and transitions, demonstrating ongoing delivery and review of these plans.
* Accountable for the maintenance of accurate account and customers data captured in CRM system, to support the effective management across the organisation of accounts and service implementation.
* Regular review of performance utilising data reports and adjustments made to planned activities. Providing feedback to internal stakeholders with regards to challenges impacting upon uptake of services e.g., NHS barriers
* Engage with a broad customer group across the NHS to identify decision makers who can influence the implementation of clinical homecare across various specialties, including homecare pharmacy teams, clinical roles and business managers.
* Work collaboratively with client company representatives to ensure clarity of responsibilities in priority accounts and supporting clinical teams in the management of patients accessing HealthNet Homecare services
* Demonstrate effective cross functional working with internal stakeholders e.g., operations team, to ensure industry leading service is provided to the NHS and / or private providers.
* Be accountable for compliance with internal SOPs and HealthNet Homecare processes.
* Attend professional conferences and events to maintain and improve market knowledge, be recognised by your customers as the go to person within HealthNet.
* Senior BDM, demonstrate mentoring and coaching of colleagues with regards to the internal processes and NHS Homecare Principles to support their development, capability and success within role.

What experience and skills are we looking for?

* Proven sales and account management experience working with NHS customers or transferable skills e.g. pharmaceutical industry
* Previous relevant experience in developing and implementing business plans, including the prioritisation of accounts and utilising sales data to support ongoing business decisions.

Personal Skills & Qualities:

* Working knowledge of the NHS and Homecare Provision.
* Demonstrate commercial acumen and proven sales success.
* Comfortable with complexity and the ability to make decisions / assumptions with the available data.
* Confident communicator
* Excellent planning and prioritisation skills
* Business planning skills and can demonstrate experience of execution of plans and business proposals.
* Highly analytical and confident working with different data sources
* Self-starter who demonstrates a 'can do' attitude.
* Computer literate and competent in working with multiple systems.
