Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
* Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, food storage, and equipment maintenance.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to plan menus and develop new dishes.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
* Monitor portion sizes and waste management to optimise cost efficiency.
* Assist in serving meals during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
Skills
* Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
* Previous kitchen experience is essential; culinary experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
