Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
* Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI and CT scans, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
* Provide exceptional patient care by preparing patients for imaging procedures, explaining the processes, and addressing any concerns they may have.
* Operate imaging equipment with precision while maintaining high standards of image quality.
* Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate interpretation of images and timely delivery of results.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures performed.
* Stay updated with advancements in medical imaging technology and participate in ongoing professional development.
* Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Experience
* A recognised qualification in Radiologic Technology or equivalent is essential.
* Proficiency in MRI and CT imaging techniques is highly desirable.
* Previous experience in a clinical setting with a focus on patient care is an advantage.
* Strong IT skills for managing digital imaging systems and electronic health records are beneficial.
* Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with patients and colleagues alike.
