Part Time Position: 25 - 30 hours
We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, motivated, and hardworking receptionist to join our busy practice. The successful candidate will be a friendly, organized person with an excellent telephone manner.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include dealing with patients by telephone and face-to-face, projecting a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors. Previous experience in General Practice is advantageous, but full training will be provided. The role involves multitasking with compassion. The candidate should be flexible, reliable, and able to work under pressure to support our experienced team.

Linthorpe Surgery is a busy, forward-thinking practice committed to excellent patient care for our 20,000 patients. We have 9 GP partners, 5 Salaried GPs, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 4 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs, and a dedicated team of administrative and reception staff.
Job responsibilities
The role includes:
* Data Gathering: Answering calls, gathering information for triage decisions, completing e-LITE forms.
* Care Navigation: Managing e-consults, contacting patients for appointments, prioritizing e-consults for GPs.
* Booking Appointments / Administration: Managing waiting lists, booking same-day and routine appointments, liaising with the Care Navigation Hub.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
