Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a technical team comprising: Quality Manager, Quality Lead, Quality Technicians Technical Assistant Technical Compliance Manager Build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Compliance & StandardsEnsure compliance with all food safety, quality, and legal requirements. Maintain, develop, and enhance BRCGS standards and retailer codes of practice. Oversee internal, external, and customer audits-implementing robust corrective actions and preventative measures. Retailer EngagementAct as the primary technical interface for major retail customers. Manage specifications, complaints, and retailer technical queries professionally and promptly. Continuous ImprovementIdentify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and site standards. Lead waste reduction, efficiency, and quality enhancement initiatives. Cross-Functional CollaborationWork hand-in-hand with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure technical standards are integral to daily operations.
