About the Credit Control & Billing Administrator Role As a Credit Control & Billing Administrator;
Youll play a vital role in the finance team by ensuring accurate invoicing and timely payments.
Youll take ownership of the end-to-end billing process, monitor outstanding accounts, follow up with clients on overdue payments, and resolve any billing discrepancies.
Youll also utilise your Excel skills to reconcile payments across various platforms, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will help maintain clear financial records and build trusted client relationships all while supporting healthy cash flow and the financial stability of the business.
Key Responsibilities for a Credit Control & Billing Administrator Following group payment procedures and policies to ensure timely customer payments
Responding to client queries via multiple streams
Keeping customer retention levels high to ensure retention
Reconciling accounts
Reducing debtors Days Sales Outstanding through proactive Credit Control
Re-calculating invoices identified to have errors
Calculating and approving credits requested by clients and internal teams
Bespoke rate management for clients with custom carrier rates
Billing system management - assisting clients and internal stakeholders with queries regarding settings applied in our in-house billing management solution
Raise, review and approve invoices both weekly and monthly
Focus areas for a Credit Control & Billing Administrator
Reducing overdue customer balances by fixing billing queries or agreeing payment plans
Monitoring agreed payment plans to ensure customers stick to the plan
Ensuring dunning letters etc are sent in accordance with company credit control policy
Responding to customer billing queries
Analysing billing data to identify errors and correct them
Improving billing procedures to reduce billing queries and errors
Review and approve invoice data
