Location: Portaferry Hours: 21 per week (evenings & weekends) Contract: Part‑time Salary: Competitive Portaferry Leisure Centre is seeking a motivated and responsible Operations Officer to support the safe and efficient running of our busy facility. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, a commitment to customer service, and experience working in a leisure or public‑facing environment. Key Responsibilities Facility operations - Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the centre during allocated shifts. Health & safety monitoring - Ensure all areas meet safety standards, complete checks, and respond to incidents. Customer service - Provide a welcoming environment and assist customers with enquiries. Staff coordination - Support and guide leisure attendants and casual staff during shifts. Pool supervision - Assist with poolside operations, ensuring compliance with procedures. Opening/closing duties - Secure the building and ensure all areas are prepared for use.
