This is key to enabling us to deliver on the promises we\\\'ve made to the people of Wales to build a sustainable transport network that meets their needs.Role responsibilitiesWe are recruiting for a Commercial Operations Trainer to join the Operational Training Team in a pivotal role that will design and deliver effective training programmes for primarily the Train Manager function but you may be required to support training for other functions.As a Commercial Operations Trainer you must hold Conductor competence to enable you to support with the delivery of our training strategy as the business progresses with their transformation plans. We also expect the successful candidate to: Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders, including the Commercial Training Manager, to ensure all training materials meet the necessary requirements and requests are fulfilled with supportive, effective learning. Design and deliver innovative and creative training programmes which meet business requirements and regulatory, safety and industry standards. Lead by example and manage and coach any delegates whilst in the care of the Operational Training team In addition, you will be required to conduct any daily administration duties as necessary to ensure the smooth running and availability of our training facilities and support the Operational Training Team on other associated projects and activities. Who we\\\'re looking for It is essential you have experience of designing, delivering, evaluating, and reviewing training material. Equally essential is the ability to apply innovative and creative thinking where you are able to work well on your own initiative as well as a team. Previous coaching experience and either already hold a relevant Learning & Development or trainer qualification or be willing to work towards achieving one. Willing to work towards, or holds, a recognised assessor\\\'s qualification. Conductor Competency. Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to organise, prioritise and manage your time and workload to achieve maximum levels of efficiency. Good basic understanding of IT Knowledge and will be PC literate specifically within MS Office Packages. Welsh Language SkillsThe ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role. Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills.
