We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and professional Personal Assistant (PA) to the Headteacher to join our dynamic team at St Joseph's. The current postholder has moved into a new development role within the school. This key role provides high-level administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher, ensuring the smooth running of their daily schedule and wider school operations. The role will also support the Business Manager and involve analysis of school data.
* Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Headteacher.
* Manage the Headteacher's diary, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
* Provide operational support to the Business Manager and wider Headship Team.
* Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
* Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations.
* Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
* Organise school events and meetings, and take minutes when required.
* Assist with HR and recruitment administration where necessary.
* Support data analysis related to school operations.
We are looking for someone who is:
* Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
* A strong communicator, both written and verbal.
* Proactive and resourceful, able to anticipate the needs of the Headteacher.
* Confidential and professional, handling sensitive matters with discretion.
* Experienced in administration, preferably in an educational setting.
* Tech-savvy, with strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, MIS systems, etc.).

Hours: Full time over 5 days per week. While occasionally there may be a need to stay later for meetings or events, we aim to offer flexible hours to maintain a balanced workload. The role is based on 38 weeks per year during term time, plus 4 weeks for INSET and school holidays, with consideration for a full-year contract.
