We are looking for a Facilities Technician
The role includes the management of associated service contracts and resources, ensuring best practice and cost-effective solutions in accordance with corporate safety directives, energy efficiency playbook, and facility policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the Facilities Team
* Undertake facility improvements and repairs
* Coordinate external Contractors and ensure adherence to contractor control procedures
* Monitor and manage facility service contracts
* Plan and implement facility improvements aligned with Lear’s Energy Efficiency Playbook
* Develop and manage preventative programs and oversee projects
* Submit PAR & CAPEX costs for facility projects
* Monitor and manage energy usage
* Ensure facility compliance with Lear’s directives, site procedures, and statutory inspections to meet relevant legislation
* Lead quarterly Kaizen / improvement projects
* Respond to any Quality / facility investigations
* Provide support to the Industrial Engineering and Maintenance teams where applicable
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Project & Contractor Management
* Experience overseeing projects and coordinating with contractors
* Hold an advanced Level 3 safety certification (IOSH Managing Safety)
* Experience managing facilities and optimizing resources; Facilities Management Level 3
