Locations: Wilmslow and Sale branches. The role involves engaging with customers to understand their needs and providing information about our full savings range, products and services. You will listen to customers, understand their goals, and provide a straightforward, helpful service that reflects your enthusiasm and professionalism.

What Will You Be Doing As A Customer Consultant?
* Be the first point of contact — warmly welcome customers in-branch and over the phone, ensuring a positive first interaction.
* Engage and understand customers’ needs by asking insightful questions to provide tailored solutions.
* Listen to customers’ circumstances and offer personalized solutions that meet their needs and support the community.
* Proactive outreach to customers over the phone to identify needs and discuss how we can help.
* Maintain accurate customer records in our internal systems, with a focus on identifying and supporting vulnerable customers.
* Adhere to policies, standards and controls, supported by comprehensive training and coaching.
What Do We Need From You?
* Previous experience interacting with customers; not limited to banking or building society backgrounds. Experience in customer-facing roles in retail, hospitality, health/care, or contact centres is welcome.
* Ability to work well with others in a ‘one-team’ environment.
* Ability to stay calm and manage time effectively in busy periods while handling a variety of customers.
* Desire and ability to grow, adapt and change with business needs and priorities.
