Overview
My client works within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on a Graduate Controls Engineer to develop as part of their team.
Base pay range
Salary - £27,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities
* Working within the existing engineering automation technical team
* Working on PLCs and a range of projects
* Developing PLC code and software for projects
* Always looking at identifying areas for improvements
* Commissioning activities and testing
* Working from electrical schematics
* Integrating PLC code
* Fault finding and resolving any issues
Qualifications
* Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
* Have knowledge or experience of working with PLC systems ideally or an interest in working with them – Beckhoff or similar
* An interest in software engineering would be ideal – any previous exposure to C++, Java or similar (this could be in your hobbies too)
* Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
* Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
