Madingley Hall is part of the Institute of Continuing Education in the University of Cambridge. This historic country house has 16 meeting rooms, 62 ensuite bedrooms, a professional kitchen, licensed bar, coffee shop, Lodge House available as rentable short-stay accommodation and is set in 8 acres of grounds including Capability Brown designed gardens.
Role and Responsibilities
* The purpose of this role is to provide supervision, cleaning and housekeeping services across Madingley Hall Estates, including Madingley Hall, hotel bedrooms, conference areas and all public/communal areas.
* Provide help and support to the Housekeeping Manager with matters concerning training new starters, cleaning and supervising the smooth running of the housekeeping department.
* On occasion, undertake managerial duties when the Housekeeping Manager is away from the Hall and Estates sites.
* Ensure exceptional guest experiences and efficient cleaning operations within the hotel, lodge, conference areas and public areas.
Hours and Benefits
This is a full-time position: rota 5 out of 7 days, including weekends, evenings and public holidays. Core hours are between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
