National Account Manager – Drive Commercial Growth in Food Manufacturing
Location: Birmingham – Hybrid
Salary: £42,000–£50,000 / Negotiable

Are you passionate about building customer relationships and driving commercial success? We are seeking a National Account Manager to support a growing portfolio in Retailer and Discounter channels. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced commercial team, contribute to key account growth, and play a pivotal role in product launches and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own a portfolio of accounts, build strong relationships, meet commercial targets, and identify growth opportunities
* Support strategic planning and execution for key accounts alongside the Commercial Manager
* Lead and coordinate product launches across channels, ensuring cross-functional collaboration
* Assist with commercial planning, monitoring performance, and providing analysis to support decisions
* Act as a key liaison between sales, supply chain, and finance teams
* Manage account administration, project trackers, and customer-facing documents
* Prepare engaging presentations and business reviews tailored to customer strategy
* Track project timelines and proactively follow up to ensure alignment across teams
Candidate Profile:
* 1–2 years’ experience in a commercial, sales support, or national account role (Food Manufacturing, FMCG, retail, or discounter experience preferred)
* Strong customer relationship and account management skills
* Commercially aware with understanding of pricing, promotions, and P&L impact
* Excellent project coordination and organizational skills
* Analytical thinker, confident working with data to support decisions
* Clear, confident communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders
* Team player with proactive, collaborative approach
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
