Chartered Structural Engineer – Design Consultancy £50,000 Stafford (Hybrid) We are seeking an experienced Chartered Structural Engineer to join our Stafford-based Design Consultancy team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key technical role within a multi-disciplinary environment that brings together architectural, surveying, engineering and specialist building services expertise. You will be part of a dynamic in-house practice delivering high-quality design solutions, technical leadership and structural engineering excellence across a wide range of building and property-related projects. Our Design Group is central to ensuring the delivery of robust, efficient and innovative design work, supported by strong professional standards and collaborative teamworking. Duties: Lead and deliver high-quality structural engineering design work from project inception through to completion. Contribute to the development of engineering standards, design approaches and internal policies. Ensure structural elements of projects are delivered within agreed timescales and budgets. Promote and support best-practice design and construction standards, with a focus on safety, long-term performance and value. Prepare and review detailed structural engineering drawings to a high standard. Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation including the Health & Safety at Work Act, Asbestos Regulations, COSHH and CDM. Requirements: Chartered Structural Engineer. Strong knowledge of structural engineering within building construction. Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) and engineering detailing. Solid awareness of construction-related safety legislation and design responsibilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
