Key Responsibilities
As a Primary Teacher in Earley, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across the curriculum in line with the National Curriculum
* Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth
* Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEN or EAL
* Monitoring pupil progress using formative and summative assessments, and adapting teaching accordingly
* Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
* Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development alongside academic progress
* Collaborating with Teaching Assistants, SEN staff, and school leadership to implement targeted interventions
* Participating in pupil progress meetings, curriculum planning, and school-wide initiatives
* Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress, achievements, and concerns
* Keeping accurate records of pupil performance, assessment, and behaviour
* Actively participating in staff meetings, CPD sessions, and professional development opportunities
* Upholding safeguarding, child protection, and school policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has experience teaching in KS1 or KS2 (ECTs welcome)
* Demonstrates excellent classroom management and consistently applies positive behaviour strategies
* Is committed to inclusive education, supporting pupils from diverse backgrounds
* Can differentiate lessons effectively to meet the needs of all learners
* Is reflective, proactive, and committed to ongoing professional development
