The Role
We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Finance Manager to lead financial operations and support business growth. This role combines day-to-day financial management with strategic input, working closely with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
Manage day-to-day finance operations (invoicing, expenses, reconciliations, cash flow)
Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts
Monitor performance against budgets, identifying risks and trends
Support project-level financial tracking
Assist with development viability appraisals
Manage CIS returns and supplier compliance Budgeting & Forecasting
Lead annual budgeting and reforecasting processes
Collaborate with leadership on budgets and resource planning
Provide financial insights for pricing and strategic decisions
Prepare financial models for funding and investment Compliance & Systems
Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations
Liaise with external accountants on audit and statutory reporting
Maintain accurate financial records
Improve financial systems and processes
Support digitalisation of finance systems Leadership & Collaboration
Act as a financial advisor to senior stakeholders
Communicate financial information clearly to non-finance teams
Support operational and workforce planning Requirements
5+ years’ experience in finance (construction/property/professional services preferred)
ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and best practice
Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks) and Excel
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience in project-based financial planning (desirable) BIM Awareness
Understanding of BIM principles and terminology
Awareness of ISO 19650
Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE) What’s on Offer
