Join Teaching Personnel as a SEN Teaching Assistant!
Are you a passionate graduate student looking to gain hands-on experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) education? Do you want to make a real impact in the lives of children with diverse learning needs? Are you seeking flexible, full-time or part-time work?
We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work closely with fantastic Primary and Secondary SEN Schools across Lancashire. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and work in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Location: All of Lancashire including Preston, Chorley, Leyland, Blackpool, East Lancashire
Hours: 08.30-3.30; Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Your Role:
* Supporting students with a range of special educational needs in the classroom
* Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and adapting materials to suit students' needs
* Encouraging independence and confidence in pupils
* Helping create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
* Providing emotional and behavioral support where needed
What we are looking for:
* A passion for working with children with SEN
* A relevant qualification (or currently studying at postgraduate level) in Education, Psychology, SEN, etc.
* Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
* Experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
* A proactive and positive attitude

All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for future permanency.
