You'll bring a deep understanding of designing active travel networks, public transport solutions, and streetscape schemes that make cities safer and more inclusive. With your knowledge of key design standards-such as LTN 1/20, LTN 1/24, and Manual for Streets-you'll ensure every project meets the highest benchmarks for quality and safety. You'll apply advanced modelling tools to assess multimodal network impacts and develop innovative, cost-effective strategies that solve complex challenges. Through clear and confident communication, you'll engage clients, present ideas that inspire, and deliver solutions that exceed expectations. Your awareness of emerging trends-net zero, decarbonisation, and digital technologies-will help Jacobs stay ahead of industry change and lead the way in creating sustainable, future-ready transport systems. In this role, you'll lead with impact, driving bold designs for active travel and public realm projects that truly make a difference. Proven experience in Traffic Engineering and application of modelling. Strong understanding of active travel design principles and relevant standards Experience in the use of local junction and microsimulation software Experience of wider Transport Planning specialisms-e.g. Development Planning, Policy Chartered or working towards professional accreditation (CEng, TPP, or similar).
