Youll calibrate mechanical and electrical equipment, manage schedules, resolve non-conformances, and support production to minimise downtime. You Will: Perform in-house calibration and inspections, ensuring traceability to national standards. Maintain calibration records, schedules, and methods. Resolve calibration failures promptly and support audits. Collaborate with QA, production, and external calibration providers. Read and interpret technical drawings and use precision tools. About You: Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO/IEC 17025 standards. Experience in mechanical/electrical calibration and inspection. Proficient with precision tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges). Ability to read technical drawings and apply GD&T. Experience with calibration management systems (e.g., ATMS). CMM operation/programming experience. Aerospace sector experience. BTEC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering, Metrology, or related field. Additional calibration/inspection certifications advantageous. Strong cross-functional calibration experience, ensuring consistency and compliance across departments Your Interview Journey: A two-stage process: initial in-depth screening call with your Recruitment Business Partner, followed by a structured 1st stage interview with the hiring manager for a detailed discussion to explore your work experience and delve into Martin-Bakers operations, focusing on the specifics of the role, including a trade test to assess engineering knowledge through a basic practical test.
