What You Will Be Doing
As an Apprentice Service Technician, your primary goal will be to learn and understand the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, ultimately qualifying as a HVAC Service Technician. Your responsibilities will include:
* Regularly attending Glasgow Kelvin College to study for the Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Pumps qualification.
* Working on a variety of HVAC equipment, from smaller water and air side products to large commercial and industrial systems.
* Participating in customer site visits, shadowing qualified Technicians.
* Learning about refrigeration and air conditioning systems, fans, and air handling equipment.
* Assisting in troubleshooting and supporting technically challenging breakdowns, both in person and remotely.
* Gaining experience with sequencing and control panels, pumps, and water hydraulics.
* Exploring digital control systems and basic Building Management Systems (BMS).

What We’re Looking For
* Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English, Maths, Science, and ICT OR Engineering.
* A full UK driving licence.
* A keen learner with a bright and inquisitive nature.
* Good written English skills.
* An interest in M&E, Engineering, and the HVAC industry.
* Strong problem-solving abilities.
* Basic computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Confident and articulate communication skills.
