Fuel Transport Solutions are looking to add to our existing work force. we are looking for applicants for our Bathgate Depot, we have existing contracts and on-going work, The individuals will be trained accordingly on all aspects of our current deliveries to ensure skill base matches requirements.
We cover deliveries across Scotland and the North of England, we cover a variety of work on commercial and retail with Pump and Gravity deliveries.
(Dayshift, Nightshift & 4 on 4 off)
Responsibilities:
* Safely and efficiently operation of truck to deliver fuel to designated
locations
* Load and deliver Fuels as per customer's instructions.
* Follow all road traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and
functionality
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any
incidents or delays
* Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and
address any issues or concerns
Requirements:
* Valid CE Licence
* Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with Fuel Tankers or commercial
driving experience
* Ability to operate automatic transmission vehicles
* Excellent knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures
* Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
on the road
* Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy Hoses and
spending long hours behind the wheel
* Attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and safe handling of cargo
