The Opportunity
I’m currently working with a leading packaging manufacturer who are looking to add an experienced Flexographic Printer to their production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business supplying high-quality flexible packaging to major brands, with long-term stability and strong earning potential.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for operating CI flexographic printing presses within a fast-paced production environment, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key responsibilities:
* Operating 8–10 colour CI flexo presses
* Setting up jobs, monitoring print quality, and making adjustments
* Working to production schedules and minimising downtime
* Carrying out routine checks and reporting faults
* Completing documentation and ensuring effective shift handovers
* Supporting training of junior staff where required
* Maintaining high standards in line with ISO, BRC and H&;S procedures
What They’re Looking For
* Experience operating CI flexographic presses (essential – not stack)
* Background printing on films such as PE / OPP
* Experience with solvent-based inks and polymer plates
* Ability to run high-speed presses (450–650 m/min preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and quality standards
* Team player with a proactive and reliable approach
* Experience with Miraflex, Soma or Allstein (advantageous)
* Knowledge of QA processes and colour measurement tools beneficial
