We are looking for an experienced Category Manager, based at our Head Office in Barton-Upon-Humber. The position is full time, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:00. As Category Manager, you will lead the commercial and strategic management of defined product categories to drive sales growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities: Develop and implement category strategies based on market trends, customer insights, and business goals. Propose, lead, and coordinate procurement projects, managing the supply chain from sourcing to end-user delivery. Lead contract negotiations and manage high-value or complex supplier agreements. Monitor and manage category KPI's, including sales performance, margin, stock levels and inventory turnover. Support new product development and launch initiatives within your category. Develop the team of Buyers, Junior Buyers and Purchasing Assistants, driving performance and supporting personal growth.
