About the Role As Mechanical Supervisor, you will lead your team in fault diagnosis, planned maintenance, and responsive repair across a wide range of systems. You will manage workloads, assign tasks, develop staff, and uphold health and safety standards, all while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll liaise across departments, supervise contractors, support energy-saving initiatives, and ensure that your team’s work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. You’ll also help shape the evolution of our maintenance strategy, working closely with colleagues in Engineering, Capital Projects, and Sustainability. What We’re Looking For
7. Qualified Professional: You hold at least a City & Guilds advanced level or NVQ level 3 in Mechanical Services.
8. Experienced Leader: You've supervised hands-on trade teams, with skills in organising and overseeing maintenance tasks.
9. Technical Proficiency: Solid mechanical or plumbing experience, including strong expertise in HVAC, refrigeration, boiler, and control systems.
10. Problem-Solver: You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven.
11. Customer-Focused: With strong communication skills, you can provide exceptional customer service and meet service excellence standards.
