Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Aseptic services team. The role will be focused on Aseptic Services and will operationally support both the Radiopharmacy and our Outsourced dose banded medicines services. The successful candidate will also deliver and support training at all levels within the Aseptic Unit.
Responsibilities
* Organise and supervise Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officers (PATOs) within the Aseptic suite, which incorporates Radiopharmacy, Aseptic services and Outsourced dose banded medicines.
* Cover for and support other Senior Pharmacy Technicians in this area as and when necessary.
* Organise and supervise the training of all grades of staff in Aseptic Services and Radiopharmacy.
* Collaborate with Quality Control Staff to ensure high standards of practice and adherence to quality management systems.
Qualifications
* Experience of aseptic services is essential.
* Previous radiopharmacy experience desirable.
* Eligible for a post offered under Annex 21 AfC Terms & Conditions or a progression post, subject to experience, competency and suitability.
