Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30 5:30, 40 Hours, Permanent
Salary: £28,000 £30,000+ per year (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

The Role
They are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 4 MOT Tester / Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join their growing team.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced workshop environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring customer vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in line with legal and company requirements
* Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
* Complete maintenance and repair work to a high standard
* Operate diagnostics equipment confidently
* Assist with vehicle handling and heavy lifting where required
* Maintain accurate records of inspections and completed work
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
* Support colleagues with technical expertise when needed
* Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Requirements
Essential
* Proven experience as an MOT Tester and/or Vehicle Technician
* Level 3 mechanical qualification or equivalent experience
* Class 4 MOT Tester qualification
* MOT Licence
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Fluent in English, both verbal and written
* Strong mechanical knowledge across a range of vehicle systems
* Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics equipment
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Good team player with strong communication skills
* Must be CRB/DBS approved
Desirable
* Minimum 3 years mechanical experience
