We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and creative Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Slough, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys lower Key Stage 2 and is passionate about supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, helping pupils build confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum
* Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress effectively
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN
* Promote positive behaviour and high expectations
* Create a well-structured, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
* Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues across KS2
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers
* Contribute to staff meetings, planning, and school initiatives
* Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
* Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
* Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Have recent experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 4
* Be enthusiastic, organised, and reflective in practice
* Have strong classroom management skills
* Be a positive team player with excellent communication skills
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
